Steps to Resharpen a Bristle Blaster Belt:

1. Check the Wear Level:

   • If the bristles are excessively worn, bent, or broken, resharpening won't be effective, and replacement is the best option.

2. Clean the Belt:

   • Remove any built-up debris, rust, or coatings from the bristles using compressed air or a soft wire brush.

3. Use a Hard Abrasive Surface:

   • Mount the belt in the opposite direction
   • Run the Bristle Blaster tool on a hard surface like a sharpening stone, or sanding paper
     

4. Apply Moderate Pressure:

   • Do not press too hard—gentle pressure will help reshape the bristles without excessive wear.

5. Check for Improvement:

   • If the bristles regain some sharpness, you can continue using the belt.
   • If the bristles remain dull, it's time to replace the belt.

Preventive Tips for Longer Belt Life:

• Use at the correct angle (90° for optimal performance).
• Avoid excessive pressure to prevent premature dulling.
• Clean the belt regularly to prevent material buildup.
